Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Feb 20: Police on Monday claimed to have resolved a burglary case, arrested the accused and recovered stolen property in Kunzer area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district. Police said on January 28, 2023 Police Station Kunzer received a complaint from one Aijaz Ahmad Zargar, a resident of Chichiloora Kunzer stating therein that during intervening nights of January 27 and 28, some unknown burglars broke open the lock of his shop located in main market Kunzer and stole mobile phones and other accessories. Police registered a case and started investigations with the help of technical and human resources, names of some suspects came to surface and one of the accused identified as Sahil Ahmad Ganie of Ratnipora Payeen Watalpora Kunzar was questioned. After thorough interrogation the accused confessed that he committed the crime and upon his disclosure, stolen mobile phones and other accessories including I phone 11 -3, I phone XR -2, IPhone X -1, I phone 8 plus -1, I phone 8 -2, Iphone SE 2020 -1 Bluetooth- 1, Cable 1, iPhone cable- 2 worth lakhs were recovered. The accused was immediately arrested , police added. |
