Zero-tolerance policy
2/28/2023 12:19:56 AM

Continuing its zero-tolerance policy towards its anti-national employees, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has terminated the services of three more employees.
Prior to these three dismissals, 44 government officials have been dismissed invoking provisions of Article 311 of Constitution of India.
After the abrogation of Article 370, the government has acted tough against its employees who were found supporting terrorism or the anti-national activities.
Monitoring employees and their activities have been a part of the government’s crackdown against terror ecosystem. Helmsmen are aware of the fact that dismantling the terror ecosystem is important for defeating terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
The government taking strong note of the activities that are detrimental to national interests has kept the employees under check. They no longer use social media to support the terrorists and endorse the ideologies of the separatists.
During the past three years, the performance of the government employees has improved. They know that they are being watched and they are paid for doing their jobs.
Besides acting tough against the anti-national elements the government has tightened its noose against the corrupt employees. The anti-graft agencies like Anti Corruption Bureau have been acting swiftly on the complaints to nail anyone who is found involved in any sort of corruption.
The message is clear that the government employees have to adhere to the service rules and follow the proper conduct. They cannot get away with the acts which violate any rules.
After 2019, the investigating agencies have blocked the Hawala channels through which money used to flow into J&K for funding terrorism and the secessionist activities. The properties of the terrorist supporters have been seized and the ones who used to support the terror activities covertly have been identified and nailed.
The government employees need to focus on their jobs rather than indulging in the activities that could put them in trouble. Their job is to serve the people and not the ones who are challenging the authority of the State. The government has made it clear that anyone who supports terrorists and their ideology won’t be spared. Ones who try to cross the line will have to face the consequences.
