DDC Poonch listens to public Issues at Panchayat Banwat Dokri, Block Poonch

Poonch, Mar 1: District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet today presided over the function of Block Diwas at panchayat Banwat Dokri, Block Poonch and listened to public issues.
The people in large numbers interacted with the officers and officials of different departments and apprised them of various developmental and important issues and demands.
During the programme, PRI members sought implementation of Jal Jivan Mission and power supply schemes with top priority along with Medicare facilities. Other issues like electric poles for Banwat Dokri, upgrade PHE to new type primary health centre in Banwat Dokri, clear material payment under MGNREGA, play groung for Banwat Dokri, Community Sanitary Complex (CSC) for Shamshaanghat and Kabristan in Degwar Maldyana, black-topping for Banwat - Gundi road, upgradation of Nabna road and various other issues related to their panchayat were discussed in detail.
All the greviances and issues of the people were listened by the Deputy Commisioner patiently and assured the public that all their genuine issues would be addressed in a time bound manner. He directed the officers to work in coordination so that equitable development of all panchayats is ensured in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the XEn PDD to check and take strict action against those who are stealing and using illegal lights. He also appealed to the public to deposit the electric bills in time. The Deputy Commissioner asked the public and PRI members to keep their Panchayat neat and clean.
The DC directed the concerned officers for earlier realse of material payment under MGNREGA.
During the programme the Deputy Commissioner distributed sports kits among the youth to promote sports related spirit in panchayat.
