Jammu, Mar 5: As part of the public outreach program Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu South workouts today held a day-long workshop on Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan (booth strengthening campaign) to bolster the party at the booth-level at headquarters Trikuta Nagar office, Bahu Constituency Jammu.
The meeting was presided over by its President District Jammu South Rekha Mahajan during the meeting, “Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan” was examined threadbare by the senior party leaders.
It was commenced with the traditional lightening of the lamp by Senior BJP leaders namely State President Ravinder Raina, Former Dy CM Kavinder Gupta, Former Minister Priya Sethi, State Vice President Anuradha Charak, BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan, Former MLC Charajeet Singh Khalsa, Parduman Singh, Prabhari Jammu South Ayodhya Gupta, including senior leaders, District General Secretaries Akash Chopra and Pushpinder Charak comprising district office bearers, Mandal Presidents and Councillors.
In his presidential address, Ravinder Raina stressed the Booth Sashaktikaran program will be based on the slogan ‘Apna Booth Majboot. BJP Supremo Ravinder Raina said that the party would give the responsibility of Shakti Kendra to the senior party leaders to strengthen the booths.BJP District Jammu South will hold workshops on ‘Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyaan’ at assembly constituencies level to further intensify the campaign,” He asserted and asked party men to immediately hold meetings for the same.
Kavinder Gupta thoroughly discussed the strategies to strengthen the booths at the ground level.
He stressed the constitution of teams at the ground level to achieve the aim, particularly at the Panna Pramukh level. Kavinder also asked workers to make people aware of Modi-led government schemes and other welfare schemes at the ground level for the poor and needy. He asked party workers to make house-to-house visits a practice to propagate the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Constituency Incharge Priya Sethi emphasized on the Booth Sashaktikaran program will be based on the slogan ‘Apna Booth Majboot. She said that the party would give the responsibility of Shakti Kendra to the senior party leaders to strengthen the booths and asked party men to immediately hold meetings for the same.
Rekha Mahajan gives the victory mantra to BJP Cadres and asserted that as a part of this campaign, BJP workers will have to form teams, train them, and then carry out outreach activities in the area that comes under these weaker polling booths she added that the special focus will be on beneficiaries of various government schemes.
Vice President BJP J&K UT Anuradha Charak, District Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, Former MLC Charanjit Singh Khalsa, and Parduman Singh also spoke at length on the Occasion.
Shallu Gupta, Karuna Chetri, Rohiin Chandan, and Abhinav Anand spoke on important points of the Presidential address while Gourav Sharma Spoke about important aspects of Social Media.
Pushpinder Charak conducted the proceedings of the Programme and vote of thanks presented by Akash Chopra.
