KATRA, Mar 27: While inaugurating the Muthoot Group's 18th branch in J&K,which deals with Gold loan, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Deventures, Bonds, Gold Jewellery, Money Transfer and other businesses Rakesh Wazir President Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra (HRAK) who is also President Hotels, Restaurants, Industries & Commerce of Jammu Region said that easy and liberal financing is the tool and key to the growth of business.
Methoot Regional Manager Amritsar/J&K Region Rajan Kumar, Cluster Head J&K Arun Kumar Sharma, Chairman HRAK Shyam Lal Kesar, Director Vaishnodevi Group Sonia Wazir, Sales Head Amritsar /J&K Region Amardeep Sharma besides prominent people from business and social life were also present on the occasion.
Wazir While speaking on the occasion said that with the opening of this Branch the much needed requirement of people and Business Community in particular at Katra would be met because Business Community over here often require short term loans for meeting out day to day requirements like procurement of bulk dry fruit in season and keeping those in cold storages for selling that for whole complete year, for meeting out immediate need of people and Business community in particular and with the opening of this Muthoot branch these requirements would be met out and asked for other financial institutions also to come out with these type of tailor made schemes.
Kesar emphasized that India has got lot of gold reserves which are lying idle and their best utilization is the need of hour and lucrative gold financing schemes is the need of the hour where no other security is required and loan is disbursed within minutes and other banks should also encourage it more. Rajan Kumar said that it is 5300th branch of Muthoot which is being opened here today and with this the presence of Muthoot Group in J&K, which was there at Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur and other districts and had 17th Brances in J&K as on today will increase its horizon to Reasi district also.
He further said that Group is now pushing its focus to Non Gold business also. Currently Total Assets under Management of the group are 65085 cr.
Arun Kumar Sharma while speaking on the occasion said Muthoot is providing most lucrative inetrest rates and other facilities and people should avail those facilities.
