Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 30: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Thursday said that Lord Rama was the embodiment of truth and morality and the people should follow him to inculcate good moral values and righteousness. Addressing an impressive gathering here at Lakshmi Narayan Temple Gandhi Nagar on the occasion of Ram Navmi, Kavinder urged the devotees to learn from the life and history of Lord Ram for inculcating good virtues and working for social bonhomie and brotherhood. He said that life of Marayada Purushotam Ram is the best example before the people to emulate goodness and set up limits for an ideal life. On the occasion, a Shobha Yatra was also organised by Raghav Arora President BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal which after commencing from Lakshami Narayan Mandir passed through various localities before culminating at Dhoodhadhaari Temple in Shastri Nagar. Kavinder said that under the present circumstances, wherein political parties believe in spreading hatred among communities to take political mileage, there is dire need to learn the lessons from the life of Lord Rama, who taught to even respect the enemy. He said that people should connect with the rich Hindu culture as the same comprises of answers to all the problems of the world. He said that being the oldest- Sanatan Dharam holds everything required to live a life full of principles and good virtues.
