Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 31: Live for Others-Being Helpful Foundation conducted awareness drive to aware people to be environment-friendly by not throwing plastic, earthen pots and other non-decomposable materials in the water of Tawi. The volunteers of the organisation collected the puja material except the religious "Saakh" on the entry and didn't allowed people to throw any type of non-decomposable in the holy River Tawi. On speaking with Vivek Parihar, LFO-BHF said the hardwork of these two days by all the volunteers led to the collection of over 551.82 kg of non-biodegradable waste and being a responsible citizens, we should always take care of our environment and take possible measures and steps to clean the surroundings and encourage other to do so. The volunteers present on the occassion were Vishal Singh, Abhishek Gupta, Abhishek Raina Abhinandan, Jyoti, Aman, Stuti, Sahil, Samar, Shine, Mandeep, Shubham, Navya, Babita, Neha, Tamanna, Taniya and many more. |
