| NHPC observes birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 17: NHPC, India's premier hydropower company organized a special programme to commemorate the 132nd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at its Corporate Office, Faridabad on 17th April, 2023. Dr. (Prof.) Kirit Premjibhai Solanki, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme began with paying of floral tributes to the statue of Dr. Ambedkar by Dr. (Prof.) Kirit Premjibhai Solanki, Member of Parliament alongwith Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects) and other senior officials. Dr. (Prof) Kirit Premjibhai Solanki delivered a special lecture on the principles and achievements of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and highlighted various aspects of Dr. Ambedkar's life. He defined Dr. Ambedkar as an outstanding world leader and champion of the masses and women empowerment. Speaking on the occasion Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects), NHPC said that Dr. Ambedkar was the architect of the Indian constitution and contributed greatly to the nation. |
