| Awareness programme on SEBI held at GLDM Degree College | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Apr 24: Deptt., of Geography, Govt. Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College, Hiranagar organized an awareness programme on Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Ffinancial Education and awareness programme an initiative of there sourse person on the occasion was Subash Chander Sharma, who is an expert on different initiatives of (SEBI). Earlier the programme started with the Welcome address by Prof. Gurdyal, HOD of Geography. Prof. Gurdyal highlighted that SEBI occupied a prime mandate to protect the interest of the investors in securities market. The programme was organized under the patronage of Dr. Pragya Khanna, Principal of the college. Dr. Pragya Khanna in her message appreciated the efforts of the department and also envisaged that financial education empower the people to make a sound and responsible financial decisions.
The programme was attended by 60 students of college. The faculty member who witnessed the programmewere Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Prof. Parveen Sharma, Dr. Bhupinder Singh, Dr. Shamsher Singh and others.
The programme concluded with the formal vote of thanks presented by Prof. Kamlesh Bala, Assistant professor Department Geography. |
