| Civil Defence organises awareness camp | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 27: One day Awareness-cum- demonstration was organized at Govt. Degree College Sidhra, Jammu by Civil Defence, Jammu under supervision of Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the said awareness programme (125) Students of the College participated. Awareness about the basic knowledge on Emergency rescue methods especially on Fire Fighting was given by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics were also presented by the Civil Defence team.
On the occasion a lecture was also delivered by Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role of Civil Defence in the organization. Principal of the Degree College Dr. B.B. Anand appreciated the role of Civil Defence in spreading awareness about disaster management and rescue. He requested to Dy. Controller CD Jammu for organizing 05 days CD Basic training in their Institute in future.
Beside others Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden CD, Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, Dr. Anshu Gupta H.O.D EVS, Professor Harpreet Kour and other staff members of the Degree College were also present on the occasion. |
