| Police nabs absconder evading arrest for last 7 years from Dera Baba | | | Early Times Report
REASI, May 6: Reasi Police apprehended one absconder, who was evading arrest since 2017. Absconder namely Gurbachan Singh S/O Baldev Singh R/O Bhabber, Dera Baba Distt Reasi absconding since 2017 in case FIR No. 156/2017 U/S 48(a) Excise Act of Police Station Reasi has been arrested by Police party of P/S Reasi.
The arrest was made by PSI Rakshat singh and SHO Reasi Vijay sharma under the supervision of DySP HQ Reasi Neeraj Padyar- JKPS.
Accused person evaded arrest by disguising and changing locations and couldn't be apprehended since registration of Case FIR against him.
During investigation case was proved & chargesheet produced against him in court of law in the year 2017. Hon'ble Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Reasi has issued a General Warrant of Arrest against him.
Reasi Police has resolved to leave no stone unturned to put hardcore & long absconding criminals to justice by arresting & producing them before respective Hon'ble courts for judicial determination of their cases, trial under laid down procedure of the law of the land. |
