RAMBAN, May 11: Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak today visited Ramban district and reviewed the Horticulture scenario in the District at a meeting of the Extension and Nursery staff.
During the meeting, he directed to achieve the allotted targets with respect to Area Expansion under UT CAPEX Budget and revised Modified High Density Plantation Programme and creation of Mother Block and Nursery Production units in Public Sector to meet out the emerging demand of quality planting material raised therein. All the staff members of Ramban, Ramsoo, Banihal and Gool attended the meeting.
At the outset, Chief Horticulture Officer, Anil Kumar Gorka welcomed the Director Horticulture and briefed about the status of Public Sector nurseries and works going on in the field.
