“HPS , RERF Organizes Health Awareness Programme for Students”

Jammu/Samba, May 19: Humanity Public School in collaboration with RERF organization, run by Brahma Kumaris, organized an awareness program on health, wellness, and the importance of sports for students from classes 10th to 12th. The initiative aimed to promote both education and health, with a focus on reducing negative emotions, building stress management skills, fostering imagination and creativity, and promoting patience and tolerance among students.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Vandana rma, Incharge of the Primary Wing, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Umesh rma, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Samba. The Guest of Honors, Gaurav Charak (Principal, Humanity Public School) and Anku Charak (Vice-Principal, Humanity Public School), along with Special Guest Krupli Singh (Arjuna Awardee 1989), Dr. Meena rma, Dr. Rekha, Rajyogini BK Sudershan Didi (Senior Coordinators Sports Wing, RERF Northern Zone and I/C Brahma Kumaris JK/Ladakh), and Rajyogi BK Arun Bhai (Zonal Coordinator Youth Wing, RERF, Northern Zone) were also present. Bouquets and Godly Gifts were presented to the Chief Guest, Umesh rma, Guest of Honors, Gaurav Charak and Anku Charak, and Special Guest Krupali Singh. A melodious welcome song was performed by the Brahma Kumaris. Rajyogi BK Ravinder Bhai (Northern Zone Coordinator, Sports Wing, RERF) enlightened the students about the history of the Youth Wing and shared information about the formation of the Brahma Kumaris organization and the Y20 Program. Rajyogi BK Arun Bhai (Zonal Coordinator, Youth Wing, RERF, Northern Zone) delivered a keynote speech.
Furthermore, the students of class 9th from Humanity Public School delivered a highly impactful performance on the social evil of “Drug Addiction” under the guidance of their Dance teacher, Taruna. The skit received high appreciation from the audience. A talk show and panel discussion were also conducted with special guests Krupali Singh (Arjuna Awardee 1989), Dr. Meena rma, and Dr. Rekha rma. The event was carried out under the guidance of Rajyogini BK Sudershan Didi (Senior Coordinator, Sports Wing, RERF). The sound system and decoration on the stage were managed by Rajan and Kumar Abilash, Music Teachers, and Sarabjeet Kour (Art & Craft teacher). The entire event was captured through candid photography by Virender Singh (Computer Teacher).
