Early Times Report JAMMU, May 23: Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, while addressing the grievance redressal proceedings at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, emphasized that the G20 Summit marks a significant milestone in the history of J&K. The fact that the international community is convening in Kashmir to discuss and promote global tourism is truly momentous. It reflects the positive transformation taking place in the region, which has emerged from a period of violence and turmoil. J&K is now poised for development, peace, and ample opportunities. Ranbir Singh Pathania, BJP spokesperson, criticized those who seek to undermine the country and its national interests. While some have chosen to boycott the G20 Summit in Kashmir, there are individuals within J&K who share their sentiment and align with a political party that spreads negativity and criticism against the government, focusing on non-issues. However, it is important to recognize that these voices have been rejected by the public and are now attempting to express their frustration through alternative means. Various delegations visited the BJP office, highlighting concerns related to compassionate appointments, verifications, ex-gratia for accident victims, relief for militancy victims, effective organization of Gram Sabhas, drinking water and electricity issues, infrastructure development, staff shortages, and electricity voltage stability. These grievances were duly noted and will be addressed by reaching out to the relevant officials. Anuradha Charak also attended the grievance redressal proceedings, demonstrating the party's commitment to addressing the concerns of the public. |
