RAMBAN, May 25: A one-day training program on the Poshan Tracker App was organized by ICDS Ramban for Anganwadi workers of the ICDS (Poshan) Project Gool and Ramban. The training session, held at the Conference Hall in the DC Office Complex, was attended by over 200 Anganwadi Workers and Supervisors. The training program featured a detailed presentation by Ankush Sharma from the National E-governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronic & Information Technology. The participants received hands-on training on the updated version of the Poshan Tracker App, along with informative videos and other materials to enhance their understanding of the technological intervention for effective monitoring of AWCs. The Poshan Tracker App serves as a platform for real-time monitoring and tracking of activities related to Anganwadi Centers, Workers, Helpers, and beneficiaries under the Poshan Abhiyaan. The app facilitates the management of beneficiaries, including Pregnant Women, Lactating Mothers, and Children. During the inaugural session, the PO ICDS Ramban, Jahangir Hashmi, emphasized the importance of the Poshan Tracker and the ongoing capacity building initiatives for field functionaries of ICDS Ramban. He highlighted the need for developing competencies and skills among Anganwadi Supervisors and Workers to ensure effective implementation of the Poshan Abhiyaan scheme in the district. The training resource person was requested to focus on practical sessions and demonstrations to enhance the learning experience. It was also mentioned that several training programs have been conducted by ICDS Ramban in the past 25 days, including sessions on Early Childhood Care (ECCE) and Adhaar enrolment. The Child Development Project Officer, Ramban, Ravinder Kaur, along with other officers and officials from ICDS, attended the program. |
