Congress takes on BJP's deceptive politics, promises to crush false narratives: Vikar Rasool Wani | | | Early Times Report BANDIPORA, May 28: In a passionate address at a Party workers convention in Sumbal Sonwari, Bandipora district, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Vikar Rasool Wani asserted that the Congress Party is capable of defeating the fake narrative and misleading politics of the BJP. Wani highlighted the recent victory in the Karnataka elections as proof of the Congress Party's strength and commitment to transparent politics. Wani criticized the BJP for diverting attention from real issues and assaulting the rights of the people since assuming power at the center. He accused the BJP of attempting to establish a dictatorial rule and undermining democratic institutions, which protect the rights and deliver justice to all citizens. Wani emphasized that the dictatorial rule of the BJP would never be acceptable to the nation. The JKPCC President cautioned against the BJP's misleading politics, particularly during elections, and highlighted the party's failure on various fronts. He urged Congress Party workers across Jammu and Kashmir to prepare for upcoming ULB and Panchayat elections and deliver a strong response to the BJP and other opponents. Former JKPCC President Peerzada Mohd Sayeed expressed confidence in the Congress Party's ability to deliver justice to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He acknowledged the pain and anguish felt by the people since the BJP came into power. Several prominent leaders, including Gh. Nabi Monga, Mohd Anwar Bhat, Gh. Mohd Dar, Prof. Ismail Ashna, Shameema Raina, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Mahil District President Rehana, and Bashir Ahmad Khan, also addressed the convention.
