JAMMU, May 29: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister, Kavinder Gupta, has been chosen to lead the month-long Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan in West Bengal. The campaign, organized by the BJP, aims to highlight the achievements of the Modi Government over the past nine years. In a statement to the media, Gupta announced that as part of the celebrations for the successful nine years of the Modi Government, the BJP has planned a nationwide Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan from May 30 to June 30. During this period, senior party leaders will visit different states and spend five days in each, visiting various constituencies to showcase the accomplishments of the BJP Government. Gupta revealed that he has been assigned by the party high command to visit West Bengal and spend five days covering four constituencies: Hooghly, Bardhaman-Durgpur, Bishnupur (SC), and Bangaon. As part of the campaign, various activities will be organized nationwide, including traders’ conventions, intellectuals’ meetings, interactions with beneficiaries of Central Welfare Schemes, celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21, observance of Dr. Syama Parsad Mukerjee’s Balidan Diwas on June 23, listening to the Mann Ki Baat program on June 28, rallies, Samparak Abhiyan, and door-to-door campaigns. These efforts aim to mobilize the electorate and convince them to support the BJP in upcoming political contests, as the party believes that only a BJP Government can lead the country towards new heights of peace and progress. Gupta expressed his optimism and readiness to fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him by the party high command in highlighting the remarkable achievements of the BJP Government over the past nine years. He is set to depart for West Bengal tomorrow to commence the campaign. |
