Ashram in Jammu hosts sensational yoga and ayurveda event

Jammu, May 30: Jammu, held an inaugural event on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. The event featured an Ayurvedic Medical Camp, Yoga Classes, and Hanuman Chalisa Chanting, and was attended by several esteemed personalities.
Distinguished individuals present at the event included Smt Rekha Mahajan, BJP District President; Sh Sukhdev Bhasin, SSP 7th IRP Battalion; Sh Rajesh Padha; Adv Vikas Chopra; Sh Balkar Singh; Sh Sumit Goyal; Sh Rajan Gupta; Sh VB Khullar; Sh Sunny Sangotra; Mr Raj Hans; Smt Karuna Chetri, and Sh Ashwani Sangotra.
Shri Yog Guru Karan Singh ji, the Head of Vishw Yog Samsthaan (World Yog Institute), mentioned that the ashram’s activities are running at full throttle, with daily Yoga classes. The Ayurvedic medical camps and Hanuman Chalisa chanting take place every Tuesday. He reiterated the institute’s commitment to promoting holistic wellness and traditional knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda.
The Ayurvedic Medical Camp was organized by Dr. Bandana, District Ayush Officer, Jammu, along with Dr. Sunil Koul and Dr. Himani Butyal of AYUSH. They provided free consultations, treatments, and medicines to the visitors, emphasizing the importance of Ayurvedic principles and treatments for maintaining physical and mental well-being.
Yoga classes were conducted by renowned Yog Guru Shri Karan ji, who demonstrated various Asanas, Pranayama, and meditation techniques. The participants were encouraged to practice regularly to experience optimal health benefits.
The Hanuman Chalisa Chanting event was led by Shri Yog Guru Karan ji, who explained the significance of the hymn and its relevance in modern times. The participants chanted the hymn with devotion and enthusiasm.
The event received a tremendous response and appreciation from the attendees, who acknowledged the efforts of Vishw Yog Samsthaan in promoting traditional Indian wisdom and culture. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the distinguished guests and participants for their support and active participation.
