GDC, Mahanpuir ignites E-Resource revolution in higher education!

JAMMU, May 30: GDC, Mahanpuir organized a awareness session focused on "E-Resources and their usage in higher education." The event, conducted by the college library under the esteemed guidance of Principal Dr. Sangeeta Sudan and in collaboration with the NSS unit of the college, left a lasting impact. College Librarian Saurabh Dutta took the stage, delivering an engaging PowerPoint presentation on various open-access e-resources such as Swayam, NDLI, E-Gyankosh, E-PG Pathshala, and more. He provided comprehensive instructions on registration, operation, and the immense benefits students can gain from these invaluable e-resources.
During her address at the event, Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, the esteemed Principal of the college, motivated students to register and access these e-resources for their daily learning, emphasizing the growing importance of e-learning and its role in career progression. She commended the commendable efforts of College Librarian Saurabh Dutta for organizing such an insightful session, benefitting both students and staff.
The presence of distinguished individuals such as Dr. Balbinder Singh (Physical Director), Prof. Arvind Kumar (Library Convener), Prof. Meena Devi, Dr. Parshotam Dass, Dr. Neetika Verma, Dr. Samvedna Sharma, Dr. Ajay Singh Manhas, Prof. Rafia Bano, Prof. Rohit Sharma, and many others further added to the event's significance.
