JAMMU, May 31: KC Gurukul Public School Jammu organized an investiture ceremony to establish a new senate. The school aims to instill a sense of commitment and responsibility among students, nurturing them as future leaders. The ceremony commenced with a march past by the young leaders, followed by the presentation of sashes and badges, and an oath-taking ceremony to uphold their assigned duties. The event was graced by the presence of Mohinder Kumar, Corporator of Ward No. 61, as the chief guest, along with Chairman Arvind Mahajan, Chairperson Mrs. Sanjita Mahajan, and Academic Director Anu Jandial. Mohinder praised the students and motivated them to bring positive changes to society. He urged them to actively participate in the city's cleanliness drive and emphasized the importance of avoiding the use of polythene bags. Mamta Sharma, Principal of KCGPS, extended a warm welcome and congratulated the newly elected student council. Kanan Gupta was elected as the School Captain, along with other student leaders in various positions. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. |
