| GDC Khour organizes pledge | | |  Early Times Report
KHOUR, June 2: The NSS unit of GDC Khour recently organized a Pledge for LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) event. Led by Principal Prof. (Dr) T K Sharma and Convenor of IQAC Prof. Tarsem Lal, along with NSS volunteers, the college took a pledge to protect the environment and raise awareness about the importance of eco-friendly habits.
The event focused on various themes under the mission LiFE, including saving energy, conserving water, saying no to single-use plastic, reducing waste, adopting healthy lifestyles, and managing e-waste. The initiative was conducted under the aegis of G-20, highlighting the global significance of environmental preservation.
The aim of the activity was to foster a commitment towards adopting an environmentally conscious lifestyle. NSS Programme Officer Prof. Gurvinder Kour coordinated the program with the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr) T K Sharma.
The Pledge for LiFE event at GDC Khour served as a platform to promote sustainable practices and inspire individuals to make a positive impact on the environment. By taking this pledge, the college community demonstrated their dedication to preserving nature and creating a greener future for all. |
