GGM Science College organizes nukkad natak | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 2: NSS Unit II of GGM Science College organized an awareness nukad natak, "Beat the Plastic Pollution," under the Mission LiFE G-20 initiative, on the occasion of World Environment Day. The event was held under the patronage of Principal Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta and the supervision of NSS Program Officer Dr. Deepali Mahajan. The volunteers highlighted the urgent need for collaborative efforts to eliminate the use of polythene and promote a cleaner and greener future for Jammu. They emphasized the role of youth as ambassadors for inspiring students and the masses to strive for a clean and green Earth. Prof. Preeti Dogra, Head of the Department of Environmental Science, appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers. The theme for World Environment Day 2023, "Beat Plastic Pollution," served as a reminder of the importance of individuals' actions in addressing plastic pollution. The volunteers also created posters reflecting this theme. The event was successfully coordinated by NSS volunteers Manyaveer Singh Thakur and Aakriti Sharma. |
