During her visit, she assessed the activities carried out by the battalion, reviewed the functioning of the unit, and inspected the security of the premises. A Guard of Honour was presented to the DIG during her visit. She also directed the Commandant to hold regular Darbar and orderly rooms to address the concerns of the Jawans. The DIG assured that welfare measures falling under the jurisdiction of PHQ/APHQ/ZAPHQ would be resolved, and appropriate action would be taken.
During the briefing, the DIGP emphasized the importance of being well-equipped with law and order equipment, as well as the necessary arms and ammunition while performing law and order duties. She stressed the need for restraint while dealing with problems and urged the officials to exhibit discipline, engage in PT Parade/Yoga for overall fitness, and maintain a people-friendly approach.
