| Adarsh Club Miran Sahib, JKPPS Miran Sahib excel in Tug of War Championship | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 7: Adarsh Club Miran Sahib (Senior) and JKPPS Miran Sahib (Sub-Junior & Junior) emerged victorious in the 5th District Tug of War Championship (Mixed 4 + 4) held under the supervision of the J&K Tug of War Association and J&K Sports Council. The event witnessed the participation of around 200 students representing various institutes and clubs from Jammu District.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by S. Hardeep Singh Anand, President of J&K Tug of War Association, as the chief guest, and S. Jodh Singh Isher, General Secretary of J&K Tug of War Association, as the Guest of Honor. S. Jasbir Singh, Chairman of Unique International School Gadi-Garh, also attended the event. They presented the winners and runners-up trophies, medals, certificates, and other individual prizes.
During the gathering, S. Hardeep Singh Anand urged all participants to actively engage in sports and refrain from drugs and anti-social activities, emphasizing the importance of becoming healthy and responsible citizens.
Distinguished guests present at the event included Nirlap Kour (Head of the School Management), Dr. Shuchita Gupta (Principal of Unique International School Gadi-Garh), Arti Jamwal (Coordinator of Unique International School), and Ravinder Singh (International Player). |
