Early Times Report JAMMU, June 8: A one-day workshop on "Business Model Canvas" was organized at GCET, Jammu to celebrate Aazadi ka Amrit Mahautsav. The event was led by a team of experts, Dr. Harleen Kaur and Dr. Rupa Mahajan from the Department of Commerce, University of Jammu. They provided valuable insights into the entrepreneurial requirements, discussed barriers faced by entrepreneurs, and highlighted the key aspects that shape the future of start-ups. The importance of sustainability in the entrepreneurial journey was also emphasized. Dr. Rupa Mahajan guided the students on building the right mindset and discussed the significance of entrepreneurship in driving the Indian success story. Meanwhile, Dr. Harleen Kour focused on formulating effective business models, covering industry analysis, executive summary, company description, market analysis, and economics of business. Hands-on activities were conducted to help students prepare a solid base plan for their business models. The workshop received praise from Prof. Sameru Sharma, Principal of GCET, Jammu, who commended the speakers' guidance and the efforts of the organizing team. The team consisted of Prof. Bhawna Sharma, Er. Sanjeev Gupta, Dr. Vibha Mahajan, Er. Neeraj Gupta, Er. Amit Pandoh, and the student coordinators, including Sunidhi Sharma, Jaanvi Sharma, Gazanfar Kazmi, and Reeya Rehan.
