| SMVDU faculty presents joint talk on Tribology of NanoFluids | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 12: Dr. Ankush Raina and Dr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq, Assistant Professors from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), delivered an invited talk titled "Tribology of NanoFluids for Automotive Applications" during an online Professional Development Program webinar series organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), India. The webinar was attended by participants from both industry and academia.
The talk provided insights into the applications of tribology in the automotive sector, highlighting various nanoadditives used in lubricants, the sustainability aspects of lubrication, and the global and Indian market trends. The speakers also presented the research findings conducted at SMVDU in the field of nanolubrication. They emphasized that adopting improved tribological practices can enhance the lifespan of lubricants and contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of the automotive industry as a whole. |
