Jammu, June 15: In a significant achievement in the fight against drug trafficking, Jammu Police seized 3 kgs of ganja from an accused in the jurisdiction of PS RS Pura.
During a naka duty at Brick Kiln, Kotli Gala Bana, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna, assisted by SHO PS RS Pura Inspr Pawan Kumar, apprehended a suspected person. Upon search, 3 kgs of ganja were recovered from the accused.
The arrested individual, identified as Bhuvan Prasad Kewat, has been taken into custody, and a case has been registered at PS RS Pura under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act. The operation was conducted under the supervision of SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta, and further investigation into the case is underway. |
