Poonch, June 6: In a joint operation, the vigilant troops of the Indian Army and J&K Police successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in Krishnaghati Sector, District Poonch.
The operation took place during the night of June 14th and 15th, 2023.
The security forces recovered one AK-74 rifle with nine magazines and 438 rounds, two pistols with four magazines and sixty rounds, six hand grenades, along with clothing and medicines.
This swift action has once again prevented an infiltration bid that could have disrupted peace in Poonch District. |
