Early Times Report JAMMU, June 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the results of the Class 10th Annual Regular 2023 examination, in accordance with the timelines of the Uniform Academic Calendar 2022-23. A remarkable 80% of students from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the Union Territory of Ladakh have successfully qualified. This marks the first time that Class X students from both UTs appeared for the examination together under the implementation of the Uniform Academic Calendar. A total of 148,701 students were enrolled for the Class 10th Annual Regular 2023 session in the UTs of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, out of which 118,791 students passed the exams. The examination was conducted at 1,615 centers established across the identified Soft and Hard Zone areas in both UTs. The results revealed that 13,823 students achieved an A1 grade, 18,489 students secured an A2 grade, 24,147 students obtained a B1 grade, 28,880 students received a B2 grade, 26,248 students achieved a C1 grade, 7,133 students were placed in the C2 grade, and 78 students were awarded a D grade. Expressing his satisfaction with the entire examination process, Prof. (Dr.) Parikshat Singh Manhas, Chairperson of JKBOSE, extended gratitude to Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, R.R. Bhatnagar IPS (retd), Advisor of the School Education Department of J&K, and Alok Kumar, IRS Principal Secretary SED J&K for their valuable guidance and support in realizing the vision of the Uniform Academic Calendar. Prof. Manhas also congratulated all the stakeholders and expressed gratitude to the divisional and district-level administrative machinery, India Posts, the entire team of officers and officials of JKBOSE, and the teachers who have dedicatedly contributed to the smooth conduct of the examination and evaluation process. He further acknowledged the efforts of all individuals, directly or indirectly involved, in successfully bringing together students from both UTs in the same academic session. Prof. (Dr.) Parikshat Singh Manhas encouraged the students who did not pass this time not to lose heart and to try again with renewed zeal. He commended the students and their parents for their whole-hearted acceptance and cooperation in realizing the visionary goal of unifying the academic sessions in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. To facilitate access to the result gazette, JKBOSE has made necessary arrangements through various media channels. For the first time, the results will be available on the Digilocker service. Students can download the Digilocker App and register by providing the required details. The results are also available online on the official website of JKBOSE (www.jkbose.nic.in) and Indiaresults. Additionally, candidates can receive their results via SMS by sending a text message to 5676750, typing "jkbose10" followed by a space and their Roll No. For those without mobile phones or internet access, results can be obtained from the nearest JKBOSE office where soft copies of the result gazettes have been provided. In case of any queries regarding the results, students have been advised to avoid visiting the JKBOSE offices physically.
