Police recovers 4 missing women, reunites with their families

KISHTWAR, June 22: The Kishtwar Police has successfully recovered four missing women after extensive efforts, and they have been joyfully reunited with their respective families.
Multiple missing reports were received by the Police Station Chatroo, leading to the initiation of investigations and the filing of missing reports under DDR No.04 dated May 30, 2023, DDR No. 04 dated June 4, 2023, DDR No. 05 dated June 12, 2023, and DDR No. 05 dated June 18, 2023 at Police Station Chatroo/PP Mughal Maidan.
To expedite the search, SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal-JKPS formed specialized teams led by SHO PS Chatroo Insp Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, with the assistance of PSI Moin Khan, under the supervision of DySP DAR Kishtwar Sajjad Khan. These teams conducted raids in various suspected locations, leveraging technical assistance. As a result of their relentless efforts, the missing women were traced and located in different areas.
Following the completion of all legal formalities, the missing women were handed over to their rightful legal heirs. SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal-JKPS expressed his satisfaction with the recovery, emphasizing the commitment of Kishtwar Police to promptly address women-related issues. He urged the general public to cooperate with the police in curbing social crimes by sharing any information related to such incidents.
SSP Kishtwar reassured the community members that the efforts to combat social crimes would persist, ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents.
