UDHAMPUR, June 22: District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur Lal Chand today conducted an extensive tour of Panchayat Kambal Danga where he inaugurated the blacktopping work of Panchayat Ghar Kambal Danga to Neeli Nallah Road. During the tour, the Chairperson also inaugurated water supply scheme at Sambal Gangera completed at an estimated cost of Rs 9.67 crore Addressing the locals at Kambal Danga, the DDC Chairperson said that road connectivity is the basic requirement for growth and development of any area. He also interacted with PRI members and the general public of the area. The Chairperson DDC called upon the officers to make sincere and dedicated efforts for taking the benefits of all government schemes to the targeted sections of the society. Executing agencies were directed to complete the work at the earliest to provide benefit to the general public of the area. Later, the Chairperson DDC also visited Durga Shishu Mandir School, Balnagar and interacted with the meritorious students, who shined in recently announced class 10 results. He congratulated them for their brilliant performance and wished them a great future. Among others, BDC Chairman, Balwan Singh, Sarpanch Panchayat, Kambal Danga Shashi Pal, Sarpanch Panchayat Sambal, Veena Devi, Sarpanch Gangera, AEE PHE, Girdhari Lal and other officers/officials besides local people were accompanying the DDC Chairperson |
