Sadhotra criticizes double engine Govt for betraying unemployed, farmers
6/28/2023 10:28:41 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 28: Former Minister and Senior National Conference leader, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, addressed a public meeting in Marh Assembly Constituency, where he questioned the BJP about their promises of doubling farmers' income and taking action against frauds and scams in the recruitment process in Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed concern over the rising unemployment and the government's lack of action in filling vacancies and holding fraudsters accountable.
Sadhotra criticized the government for engaging in rhetoric and false propaganda instead of addressing the core issues of unemployment and employability. He highlighted the desperate situation faced by the youth, whose hopes have been shattered by false promises. He warned that neglecting the issue of unemployment could have serious consequences.
Regarding the promise of doubling farmers' income, Sadhotra sarcastically remarked that instead of achieving this goal, farmers are struggling to sustain themselves amidst unprecedented inflation. He emphasized the government's insensitivity towards farmers and warned of disastrous consequences if their concerns are not addressed.
Sadhotra reaffirmed the National Conference's commitment to highlighting the sufferings of the people, particularly farmers, who bear the brunt of the government's indifferent attitude. He called on the government to wake up and witness the challenges faced by the people.
He urged party workers to prepare for Local Bodies and Panchayat Elections and expand the party's outreach to overcome the mess created by the BJP. The newly appointed President of Youth National Conference Block Marh, Vikas Choudhary, and Vice President Aman Singh Manhas expressed their dedication to strengthening the party and spreading its programs throughout the block.
Prominent party members, including Raghubir Singh Manhas, Charanjeet Singh, Rakesh Sharma, Choudhary Keemat Lal, Piar Singh, Seema Devi, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Ghar Singh, and Anil Singh Chib, also addressed the gathering.
