Inauguration of training courses at PTTI Vijaypur

Vijaypur, July 7: Principal PTTI Vijaypur, Shri Shiv Kumar, inaugurated two training courses and conducted the valediction of one course at PTTI Vijaypur. The first course is a 30-day "SSG/SSF Refresher Course," and the second course is a five-week "Disaster Management Course." These courses have a total of 15 and 32 police personnel respectively from various units of the Police Department participating in them. The objective of these courses is to enhance the capabilities and tactics of the police officials.
During the inauguration, Principal Shri Shiv Kumar briefed the participating officers/officials about the basic concepts of these courses. He emphasized the importance of professionalism and innovative methods in preparedness and response during security duties, natural calamities, accidents, and other untoward incidents.
Additionally, a one-month "PSO Refresher Course" organized by Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur was concluded. This course had 22 police personnel from various units of the Police Department participating in it. The objective of the PSO Course was to enhance the capabilities and tactics of police officials in protecting VIPs and protected persons.
On the occasion of the valediction, a function was organized, graced by Principal Shri Shiv Kumar. He emphasized the significance of the PSO Course in the present security scenario. Principal PTTI Vijaypur mentioned that the course would help the police personnel in performing their field duties with VIPs and protected persons. The trainees were taught crisis management, reaction drills, evacuation, anti-ambush techniques, tactical position taking, medical contingency, and all required do's and don'ts, including precautionary measures to be adopted while performing PSO duties.
Several officials were present on these occasions, including Shri Zia-Ul-Haq Dy.SP (Admn/Outdoor), Shri Devinder Gupta, Dy.SP (R&D), Shri Kuldeep Raj, Dy.SP (Tech.), Inspr. Surinder Paul, Inspr. Vishal Kumar (RI/CDI), Inspr. Pawan Kumar, Inspr. Vivek Kalsotra, Inspr. Ram Lal, Inspr. Bhopinder Singh, Inspr. Javed Ahmed, Inspr. Kanwal Raina, Inspr. Mulkh Raj, Inspr. Himanshu Dutta, Inspr. Ashish Dharmat, SI Shehbaz Ahmed, Narinder Kumar, and others.
