The incident unfolded when a person named Sanjeev Kumar, son of Basdev Sharma and a resident of Kaldo Lakhanpur, was found wandering near the edge of the bridge, displaying signs of contemplating self-harm. Upon receiving information about the situation, a police party from PS Basohli, led by SHO Insp. Jaswinder Singh, along with CRPF officials, immediately responded to the scene. Their timely intervention and collective efforts ensured the apprehension and safety of Sanjeev Kumar.
