Block level training organised across District Doda | | | Early Times Report DODA, July 12: In the run up to launch Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0, the health department organised a series of training sessions for health workers in each medical block of the district. The training sessions were held under the guidance of respective BMOs and overall supervision of the Chief Medical Officer. The Dy CMO Doda is also monitoring the ongoing training programmes in the district. At SDH Bhaderwah, the training programme was chaired by Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ab Hamid Zargar in presence of BMO Bhaderwah, Dr Mohammad Ashraf, which was attended by ANMs, ASHAs, FW Staff, Field Workers who were trained for carrying out IMI 5.0 and operating the U-WIN portal. The staff was educated to identify children and conduct a head count survey in their villages to strengthen the routine immunization planning and delivery mechanism. At Doda, the training was held at ANMT School and chaired by Dy CMO, Dr Om Kumar and attended by the ANMs and other concerned staff from Block Ghat. The staff was briefed about the importance of IMI 5.0. The Dy CMO who imparted training to the staff, enjoined upon them to work in a mission mode and participate actively in awareness of beneficiaries i.e pregnant woman and child & their mobilization during the different phases of the programmes. Similarly, the Block Medical Officer Assar Dr Tanveer Ahmed, BMO Gandoh Dr Dr Ghansham Singh and BMO Thathri Dr Shafqat Javeed also organized training cum workshop on IMI 5.0 at their respective block headquarters The training emphasized on selecting the right beneficiaries, areas, drop outs and left out children under the immunization process besides adhering to different parameters while conducting IMI 5.0. |
