| DC, SSP inspect civic amenities in Doda town | | | Early Times Report
DODA, July 17 Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Abdul Qayoom today conducted a surprise tour of Doda town to take stock of civic amenities being provided by the Municipal Council (MC). The purpose of the inspection was to assess and ensure efficient and effective provision of public services in the town.
During their visit, they also inspected various medical shops and a nursing home to check the compliance to regulations and the provision of high-quality services. They assessed the infrastructure, cleanliness, and availability of the medical facilities.
Furthermore, the DC took stock of the traffic management system in Doda town as they evaluated traffic flow, Condition of roads and the effectiveness of traffic signages. The DC directed the concerned authorities to address the issues or bottlenecks to enhance overall traffic management in the area.
Later, the DC and SSP visited the construction site of the multi-storey car parking facility coming up in the bus stand. They assessed the progress of the construction work and emphasized the importance of timely completion of the project. The DC and SSP appealed to the people to participate in making Doda congestion free and clean. |
