Jammu, July 17: Acting on reliable information, the police received details about a notorious drug peddler, Gulshan Kumar, residing at H.No 101, Janipur, and originally from Kot Teh Bhalwal, Jammu.
In response, a special police team from PS Gharota, led by SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal Sharma and assisted by SHO PS Gharota Inspr Joginder Singh Chib, conducted a raid at the suspected location and successfully apprehended the aforementioned drug peddler.
Today, in compliance with the orders dated 12.07.23 issued by the Divisional Commissioner Jammu under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1988 (PIT NDPS), the detention warrant was executed. After completing all legal formalities, the accused was transferred to District Jail Amphalla, Jammu. |
