UDHAMPUR, July 18: As part of the series of the events being held Azadi ka Amrut Kaal, G20 Presidency of India for Shikshit Bharat and Sangathit Bharat Abhiyaan, the Devika Literary Club of the Government College for Boys Udhampur today organised a book release function of the book penned by Advocate Dr. Sumer Khajuria and co-authored by Advocate Anil Khajuria and Advocate Sunil Khajuria..
The Book was released by the Chief Guest – the College Principal Prof.(Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta in presence of the senior staff of the college.
The program was convened by Dr. Pankaj Sharma Coordinator AKAM Cell and Devika Literary Club.
The chief guest appreciated the work and scholarship of Advocate Dr. Sumer Khajuria for the release of his Book - Pride of Jammu and Kashmir with Complete Constitution of India, Legal Audit Thereof. He said that every word written in the book has a proper evidential and argument based research and opined that this book will surely go a long way to bring clarity to the readers and scholars regarding the topics included in the book.
Earlier, the program started with the formal welcome by Dr. Pankaj Sharma, wherein he also laid a road forward for the discussion on the book.
It was followed by the deliberation on the book by the Author Dr. Sumer Khajuria. Dr. Khajuria talked in detail about his book and also interacted with attendees regarding different aspects of the book and the ideas behind its origin. After his address, there was an open house interaction and question answer session, which was responded very positively and open heartily by Dr. Sumer Khajuria.
The Program was attended by Prof. Babu Lal Thakur, Prof. Romesh Kumar Atri, Dr. Naresh Sharma, Prof. Imtiaz Shahid, Prof. Samta Sharma, Dr. Ajay Sharma and Prof. Javed Sarver along with a number of other staff of the college.
The vote of thanks was tendered by Prof. Samta Sharma, HOD History and Convener Heritage Club of the College.
