Jammu police seizes 4 vehicles involved in illegal mining | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Jammu Police has taken significant steps to combat the menace of illegal mining with a well-coordinated strategy. Acting on specific inputs, police teams from PS Bishnah, PP Phallian Mandal, PP Sidhra, and BPP Gajansoo conducted raids in their respective areas, resulting in the seizure of 04 vehicles involved in illegal mining. The vehicles were used in violation of the order of the Hon'ble High Court of Jammu and Kashmir. The details of the seized vehicles are as follows: 1. One Tractor Trolley with Registration No. JK21H-8556, seized by PS Bishnah. 2. One Dumper with Registration No. JK02CN-3649, seized by PP Phallian Mandal. 3. One Dumper with Registration No. JK02CU-7653, seized by PP Sidhra. 4. One Tipper with Registration No. JK02DD-4731, seized by BPP Gajansoo. The successful recoveries were made by dedicated police officers in their respective jurisdictions. SHO PS Bishnah, Inspector Vikram Sharma; I/C PP Phallian Mandal, PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal; I/C PP Sidhra, PSI Arun Kumar; and I/C BPP Gajansoo, ASI Ravinder Bushan were instrumental in ensuring the successful raids and seizures. The authorities also intimated the District Mining Officer (DMO) Jammu about the developments. Jammu Police has taken a firm stance against illegal mining activities and is committed to implementing strict actions to curb such violations of the law. By cracking down on illegal mining, the police aim to protect the environment and natural resources while upholding the orders of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir. |
