Rich Harvest staff, scholars pay homage to Kargil war martyrs on Kargil Vijay Diwas

JAMMU, July 26: In a heartfelt tribute to the brave martyrs of the Kargil War of 1999, the Rich Harvest Staff and Scholars came together to observe Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event commenced with a special assembly where a model of the iconic Tiger Hill, a symbol of valour and patriotism, was displayed, igniting a strong sense of nationalism among the attendees.
During the solemn ceremony, the heroic contributions of soldiers like Captain Vikram Batra, Lt. Manoj Pandey, Subedar Balwant Singh, and Grenadier Yoginder Kumar Yadav, along with others, were remembered and honored by the NCC cadets. These gallant warriors exhibited unwavering courage and made the ultimate sacrifice to safeguard the nation's integrity and security.
The atmosphere was charged with emotions of pride, joy, and admiration as patriotic songs resonated throughout the assembly. The melodies not only echoed the bravery of our soldiers but also inspired a deep sense of gratitude towards those who safeguard the country.
Through heartfelt speeches and patriotic poems, the students were enlightened about the historical significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event aimed to instill a sense of pride and respect for the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces in reclaiming the captured territory and defeating the intruders from across the border.
Anita Bhatia, the head of the institute, addressed the gathering, urging the students to always remember and acknowledge the immense sacrifices made by the Armed Forces. She emphasized the importance of valuing and cherishing the freedom and security earned through the bravery of our soldiers.
Kargil Vijay Diwas holds a special place in the hearts of every Indian, serving as a reminder of the indomitable spirit and selflessness of our armed forces. The Rich Harvest staff, scholars, and NCC cadets paid their heartfelt homage to the martyrs, vowing to uphold their legacy and keep the flame of patriotism burning bright.
