Joint meeting of JKMEF and JKGPA nominates members and assigns responsibilities for better patient care

JAMMU, July 30: In a significant development for the healthcare sector, the core committee of Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) and Jammu and Kashmir Government Pharmacists Association (JKGPA) jointly convened under the esteemed presidentship of Sushil Sudan. During the meeting, new district bodies of JKMEF and the provincial body of JKGPA were formed, and key members were nominated along with their respective portfolios and responsibilities to promote the cause and unity of the pharmacist association.
For the JKMEF, the following members were nominated:
Madan Lal Sharma as President
Tufail Hussain as Senior Vice President
Ajay Phool as General Secretary
Sanjay Chaudhary, Aashih Bhati, and Swarno Devi as Vice Presidents
Kulwant Singh, Arti Bhagat, and Ajay Sharma as Secretaries
Lawrance Massih as Public Secretary
Ram Lal, Ramneek Singh, Harjeet Singh, and Sandeep Kumar as Office Secretaries
Anil Raina as Organizer
Rajesh Kumar and Ch. Ashiq Hussain as Advisors
Furthermore, all Block Presidents and Secretaries were designated as members of the district body of JKMEF.
In the case of JKGPA, the nominated members and their roles are as follows:
Bharat Bhushan Bhagat as President
Surjeet Kumar, Mukhtyar Kohli, and Ashwani Khajuria as Senior Vice Presidents
Rakesh Bakshi as General Secretary
Raman Sharma and Dev Raj as Vice Presidents
Naresh Sharma, Hukam Chand Rana, and Sham Sunder Sharma as Vice Presidents
Sunil Choudhary, Sorav Bali, and Ashok Behal as Secretaries
Subash Chander Gupta as Organizer
Shokat Ali as Assistant Secretary
S.K Anand as Advisor
Additionally, all Presidents and General Secretaries of Jammu Province were made members of the provincial body of JKGPA.
During the meeting, Sushil Sudan emphasized the importance of unity among the members and called for their active participation in implementing government programs to ensure better care for patients. He reiterated the belief that "insaniyat sabse mahan hai," underscoring the core value of humanity in healthcare.
The core committee meeting was attended by esteemed members, including Pawan Singh Jamwal, Parfult Singh, Mohd Nadeem, Jaswinder Singh, Ch. Aslam, R.P Singh, Deeraj Sharma, Yougal Bakshi, Daleep Chowdhary, Onkar Singh, Sanjay Khajuria, Sunil Chauhan, Anita Bhagat, Purmila Dubey, Suriya Akhtar, Kuldeep Dabgotra, and Ram Lal.
With the newly formed bodies and dedicated members, the healthcare sector in Jammu and Kashmir looks forward to improved patient care and a more united approach towards the betterment of the pharmacist association.
