J&K to Become North India’s Economic Hub by Projects: Raman Suri
8/4/2023 11:15:18 PM

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Aug 4: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that rail and road connectivity of J&K with rest of India, the work on which is going on at full swing, once completed by 2024 will transform our Union Territory (UT) into North India’s major economic hub thereby giving people enough trade and commerce opportunities. Raman Suri said that the remaining work on Rail project that will connect Kashmir with rest of India is likely to be completed by 2024 and similarly, the work on expressway connecting Katra with Delhi is also likely to be completed by the same year. On this rail link, there are about 60 tunnels that are going to make rail journey enthralling as well as memorable for the commuters besides tourists that throng the Valley throughout the year. These massive infrastructures are going to pave way for business and trading community besides other IT companies dawning here. Since both, the Union government as well as Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s administration, are laying emphasis on building massive infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir, the same will serve the purpose of enabling companies descend here to give employment as well as create multiple business opportunities for our youth. Raman Suri added that in just two years’ time, Jammu and Kashmir will be well-connected with the rest of India and in the given situation, it will become easy for companies to establish their offices here. Many business houses have already planned to open their outlets in Srinagar as well as in Jammu which are going to enable our economy grow in multidimensional directions for years to come. The people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially those in Srinagar and border areas of Jammu region have faced a lot. They have seen death and destruction during NC, PDP, and Congress rules. But gone are those days and now Jammu and Kashmir is writing a new chapter of its history where young boys and girls are contributing in nation building and staying away from politics of separatism or hatred. Political parties like Congress, PDP and NC had pushed the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir into a dark era where there was no development, no employment, no startup companies, no economic growth, and a fear psychosis had gripped the entire state. Today, when army and other paramilitary forces joined by Jammu and Kashmir administration and J&K Police have nailed all the anti-national and anti-social elements, people have come out of their homes and started breathing in a free and comfortable atmosphere where they can think or growth and act ably to fulfil their dreams, Raman Suri said.
