Jammu, Aug 8: The Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust Gandhi Nagar Jammu is all set to celebrate the auspicious “Shani Shilla Sthapana Divas” on August 10, 2023. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President of the Trust, addressed a press conference today to make the announcement and share details of the forthcoming event. The event holds special significance as it marks the installation anniversary of Shri Shani Shilla, a replica of the revered Shani Mandir from Shingna Pur, Maharashtra. The replica was ceremoniously installed at the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Complex in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, on August 10, 2018. The day has been celebrated with great enthusiasm each year since then. This year’s celebration will continue the tradition of grandeur and devotion, as conveyed by Charak. A function committee has been constituted to ensure the smooth execution of the event. The committee, led by K.B Magotra (KAS Retired), includes notable individuals such as Sarav Deepak Gupta, Kiran Rajput, Prithvi Raj Vaid, Ashok Khajuria, Parshant Sharma, Krishan P. Gupta, Sumesh Damral, Uma Katal, Ved Verma, and Sandeep Singh. The preparations are guided by S.C Rekhi, the General Secretary of the Trust. Davinder Khawle and his family members from Pune, who played a significant role in the construction of the temple, have been invited as special guests to grace the grand celebrations. The schedule for the event is as follows: 1. Shri Ganesh and Navgreh Poojan: 08:00 am 2. Hawan/Yagya: 09:00 am 3. Shila Abhishek and Shringar: 10:00 am 4. Pushap Abhishek, Puranaahuti, and Maha Aarti: 11:00 am 5. Bhandara: 01:00 pm The event is expected to attract a significant turnout, including the presence of esteemed members of the Trust, such as S.C Rekhi, Gen Secretary, Dr C.M. Seth, K.B Magotra, Kiran Rajput, V.K Abrol, Prithvi Raj Vaid, Kapil Slathia, Parshant Sharma, P.C Gupta, Sumesh Damral, Romesh Thakur, Tarun Gupta, Sandeep Singh, Jagjit Singh Jamwal, Harish Malhotra, and others. The Trust extends a warm invitation to all to join this festive occasion along with their families, seeking blessings from Shri Shani Bhagwan and partaking in the Bhandara arranged after the Maha Aarti. |
