Reasi, Aug 18: The Kissan Sampark Abhiyan, initiated on April 24th, has been successfully concluded in Reasi District. The comprehensive campaign covered 153 panchayats at 123 venues across 12 blocks in the district. The program was closely monitored under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal, who is also the chairman of HADP, and received guidance from the supervisory officer, Director of Agriculture Jammu, Sh. K.K. Sharma. The 17th and final phase of the program took place in Panchayat Kolsar, Block Pouni, with the participation of all resource persons from the agriculture and allied sectors, as well as PRI members of the concerned panchayats. The orientation training was conducted using audio-visual aids at all venues throughout the program. Farmers were educated about the Daksh Kissan online learning portal and KISSAN SATHI Dashboard, which facilitate the digitization of various agricultural schemes and services. Informative booklets detailing schemes under HADP were also distributed to the farmers in three languages. A notable achievement was the online registration of 16,824 farmers during the training program. Chief Agriculture Officer Reasi, Sh. Harbans Singh, Subdivision Agriculture Officer Reasi, Sh. Vinod Khajuria, and SMS SDL Kewal Krishan Sharma attended the program in Panchayat Kolsar. In Panchayat Malikote, Sh. Dara Singh AEO Chana and Incharge AEO Baddar, Sh. Sushil Thakur, were present along with PRI members. The data compilation for all panchayats in a Google sheet was successfully completed by Kumar Gaurav, Incharge JAEO. The Kissan Sampark Abhiyan has proven to be a valuable initiative in engaging with farmers, disseminating vital information, and facilitating digital integration within the agricultural sector. |
