Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 21: The Business School, in collaboration with SHoDH (Students for Holistic Development of Humanity Foundation), marked World Entrepreneurship Day with an engaging session that brought together faculty, students, scholars, and members of civil society. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, accompanied by the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda. Prof. Vinay Chauhan, Director of The Business School, extended a warm welcome to esteemed guests and industry experts. He introduced an innovative initiative by the school - a startup incubator aimed at nurturing aspiring entrepreneurs' groundbreaking ideas. The event also provided a platform for successful entrepreneurs to interact and motivate the participants to explore entrepreneurship as a career choice. Kumud Goel, Director of Headmasters Wellness Zone and TBS alumnus, emphasized the significance of resilience and persistence in entrepreneurship, drawing from her personal journey. Mansi Sharma, Founder & Director of Manu Krishi Pvt. Ltd. and IIT Bombay alumna, shared her inspiring story of leaving her job in Mumbai to establish an enterprise that produces organic and nutritious cattle feed. Both female entrepreneurs shed light on overcoming challenges and obstacles as women in the entrepreneurial world. Bhaskar Suri, Partner at AB Industries Pvt. Ltd., an emerging entrepreneur from the region, detailed his journey of breaking into the competitive cattle feed market in J&K. He provided insights into the marketing strategies that have propelled his brand, Satyam, to prominence in multiple states. Tarun Gupta, Industrial Promotion Officer at the Department of Industries and Commerce, J&K, acted as a resource person. He praised The Business School's efforts in promoting entrepreneurship at the grassroots level and enlightened participants about various government schemes to support startups and innovative ventures. Gupta highlighted J&K's emergence as an entrepreneurship hub, boasting favorable incentives and policies. The event was skillfully managed by Sonali Vaid, a PhD scholar from TBS. Kuljit Singh, convenor of SHoDH, expressed formal gratitude. Dr. Aubid Hussain Parrey, Assistant Professor at The Business School, University of Jammu, coordinated the event. Faculty members, students, scholars, and civil society representatives, including Col.
