SUNDERBANI, Aug 21: The premises of Government Degree College (GDC) Sunderbani were filled with a somber atmosphere as the college community gathered to mourn the tragic loss of nine brave army men who met with a fatal accident in Leh Ladakh. A condolence meeting was solemnly organized by the college to pay respects to the martyrs and honor their selfless service.
On the fateful day, GDC Sunderbani united as one to remember and honor the soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. The meeting was attended by the college staff, a large number of students, and dedicated NSS volunteers who joined hands to express their deepest condolences to the families of the fallen heroes.
During the gathering, a profound tribute was extended to the nine soldiers who met with the unfortunate accident. Their unwavering commitment to duty, courage, and sacrifices were highlighted as a beacon of inspiration for all. The participants paid their respects by observing two minutes of silence, reflecting the collective grief and gratitude towards these valiant soldiers.
The tragedy in Leh Ladakh served as a stark reminder of the risks that these soldiers face in their line of duty, often stationed in challenging terrains to ensure the safety and security of the nation. The college community, including the staff and students, expressed their profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by these soldiers in the defense of the country.
