Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Aug 21: Continuing its campaign "Mera Jammu-Kashmir Mera Adhikaar," the Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu-Kashmir Unit organized a "Jan Chaupal" in Ward 7 of Udhampur. The event was aimed at listening to the concerns of the local public, and it saw the participation of dozens of residents who were impressed by the policies and ideas of Shiv Sena, leading them to join the party. During the program, State Chief Manish Sahni extended a warm welcome to the new entrants by tying the symbolic "Shiv Bandhan." In his address, Sahni emphasized that Shiv Sena is actively preparing for upcoming elections, including Municipal Corporation elections, with the ultimate goal of fulfilling public aspirations. The local residents who attended the "Jan Chaupal" voiced their grievances, including irregular water supply, unannounced power cuts, and insufficient healthcare facilities. Additionally, there was dissatisfaction expressed over the toll plaza ban. Sahni assured the attendees that their concerns would be raised on various platforms. He also announced Mohan Lal Mangotra as the party's candidate for the Municipal Corporation elections from Ward No. 7. Joining the party ranks on this occasion were individuals such as Printa Singh, Ganesh, Shravan Kumar, Raj Mohan Sharma, Neeraj Jamwal, Vijay Sharma, Subhash Chandra Mathur, Bhanu Pratap, Bansi Lal, Neelam Singh, Jagbir Thakur, Mukesh Kumar, Sunil Tripathi, Naresh Gupta, and Pawan Gupta, among many others. The "Jan Chaupal" not only provided a platform for local residents to voice their concerns but also showcased the increasing support for Shiv Sena's ideologies and initiatives within the community. |
