GDC Ramgarh commemorates 77th Independence Day celebrations

RAMGARH, Aug 25: Government Degree College Ramgarh's National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit-Prabha marked the 77th year of India's Independence with fervor, as part of the Amrit Kaal and Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrations. The event was orchestrated under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, the esteemed Principal of the College.
The college Principal took the opportunity to emphasize the significance of 'Amrit Kaal,' specifically delving into the concept of 'Panch Pran' (Five Vital Elements). She introduced the attendees, including students, to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's visionary concept of 'Amrit Kaal' or 'The Era of Elixir,' which aligns with his vision for a "New India." The students enthusiastically participated in the program, expressing their patriotism through spirited renditions of national songs. Moreover, students took the stage to share their insights on the 'Panch Pran,' as elucidated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dr. Shamsher Lal, the NSS Programme Officer, inspired the students with his words of encouragement, urging them to contribute vigorously and passionately towards the advancement of a progressive, promising, and knowledgeable India. The event witnessed a substantial turnout of college students, all actively engaging in the celebratory atmosphere.
The meticulously orchestrated event was overseen by Dr. Shamsher Lal, the NSS Programme Officer. Present among the distinguished faculty were Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Seema Sharma, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, and Prof. Risha Kumari, who further enriched the occasion.
As Government Degree College Ramgarh commemorated the 77th anniversary of India's independence, it not only reflected on the sacrifices made by those before us but also echoed the aspirations of the youth towards shaping a brighter and empowered India.
