| 05 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu police | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 27: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Khour, PS Bagh e Bahu, PP Talab Tillo, PP Jourian and PP Pallanwala acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 05 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:
One tractor trolley bearing Registration no.JK02BL-3946, by PS Khour
One tipper without Registration No, by PS Bagh e Bahu
One tractor trolley bearing Chasis number WSCA45606164471, by PP Talab Tillo
One tractor trolley without Registration No, by PP Jourian
One Tractor Trolley bearing Chasis no. AZIDE41092BS3, by PP Pallanwala
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Khour Inspr Rahul Mahajan, SHO PS Bagh e Bahu Inspr Arti Thakur, I/C PP PP Talab Tillo PSI Sonu Choudhary, I/C PP Jourian PSI Karnail Singh and I/C PP Pallanwala ASI Raj Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&K. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
