Jammu, Aug 29: The young talents of Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School, Akalpur Morh Jammu, have made their mark by excelling in the 13th District Jammu Rope-Skipping Championship 2023-24. The competition was organized by the Rope-Skipping Association of Jammu and Kashmir, under the affiliation of J&K Olympic Association/Rope Skipping Federation of India. A total of 44 skilled skippers from Vishwa Bharati School showcased their talent in various categories including under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, and above. Their hard work and dedication bore fruit as they secured an impressive haul of 23 gold, 12 silver, and 17 bronze medals. The remarkable performance also earned them the prestigious overall championship trophy. Among the medal winners were students like Krish Mehra, Amarjeet, Navdeep, Kartik Saini, Kritesh Khajuria, Vaibav, Santnu Nagotra, Arihant Saini, Antriksh Singh, Aman Manwal, and many more. Annapurna Koul, the school principal, congratulated the students on their remarkable victory in the championship. She also praised Joginder Singh, the coach, for his relentless efforts in preparing the students for this outstanding achievement.
